Our Guide To Fish

Feed once a day only.

Feed 1 - 2 flakes of food
at a time.

When going away for 2 - 3 days
do not worry as goldfish
will happily survive without
any food for that
length of time.

When away for a longer holiday
put a vacation feeding block into
the bowl or tank or ask a friend or neighbour to pop in and feed
them 1—2 times per week.

When you get home with your
new pet, fill your bowl or tank
with aired water from the tap.

Add the recommended
amount of tap water conditioner
to the water and mix thoroughly.

Float the fish in whilst still in
the plastic bag in the bowl
or tankfor approximately
20 minutes as this allows
the fish to gently acclimatise
to any water temperature
differences.

This procedure should also
be followed when to complete
water changes.

Release your fish in to its new home.

carried out once a week to
replace stale water with fresh.

Remove half the water
from the goldfish bowl this
can be done simply by scooping
out with a small cup.

Pour fresh water from the
tap into a clean bowl, bringing
it to the same temperature
using either boiled water or
hot tap water.

Add Tap water Conditioner
and mix thoroughly.

Gently pour the new
water into the goldfish bowl.

Your goldfish should not
be placed in or near

Direct Sunlight

High activity areas

Areas with vibration & noise
(Fridges, washing machines
or tumble dryers)

Sources of heat
(Cookers, Radiators,
heaters etc)

Ensure no household chemicals
can accidentally get into
the goldfish bowl.
